1 Corinthians 16:13  Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong   We search for so many things to detain, and entertain us in this world. And the world has so much to offer us when it comes to entertainment.   But when we open our eyes and hearts to what this world has to offer we must remember to always keep our guard up.   “GUARD?” you may ask. . . . Philippians 3:7-11 7  I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. 8  Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ We live in a world that is chasing a dream, and the betterment of all life.   The “pursuit of happiness” has led many into an attitude and way of living that puts value on the “things” of this world.   Our lives are now summed up in the chase of success and the fulfillment of worldly dreams. Science and technology are pushing GOD to the edges of our focus and we must fight to realign our minds on what’s really important.
