TEMPTATION

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Do not flirt with the very thing that tempts you.  Do not play with the fire that would consume your life and destroy the peace God wants to place in your life.  Each time you flirt with your temptation your new spirit gets a little bit weaker and your old flesh gains more ground.  This will happen until you give in and are left wondering; why am I here again?  Do not let yourself become a victim of sin!  Instead live victoriously by turning away from the things that tempt you.  Live each day one righteous decision at a time!

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7 Even though we know better, do we live parts of our lives in secret as if GOD is not watching. We need to ask God to shine a light on the areas we need to fix.   Yes we need fixing. Just as no man could throw the first stone at the woman caught in adultery, we cannot cast any judgment on to anyone but ourselves. We do not deserve  anything but death because of our sin.
