TEMPTATION

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Do not flirt with the very thing that tempts you.  Do not play with the fire that would consume your life and destroy the peace God wants to place in your life.  Each time you flirt with your temptation your new spirit gets a little bit weaker and your old flesh gains more ground.  This will happen until you give in and are left wondering; why am I here again?  Do not let yourself become a victim of sin!  Instead live victoriously by turning away from the things that tempt you.  Live each day one righteous decision at a time!

Are you seeking GOD's purpose for your own life or are you riding the coat tails of another? For years I fought the call of minister and pastor because the calling ran in my family. I wondered "am I projecting my own will into my life?" Was I only following my earthly role models? Galatians 5:13-14   13  You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free.
