WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV).

Do Not Grow Weary In Waiting!!!

I have realized that we live in a society that has trained us to have everything "right now" and our way. We have become experts in getting our children to stop having temper tantrums. We grow weary when we even think about how long something may take. And the thought of working through a rough patch in our lives and marriages seems like the thing not to do. I mean!! Half of our marriages end in divorce. How can Christians fight for marriage when we are not taking it seriously. How can we say as Christians that we have faith and GOD is able when we do not trust Him with the details of our lives.

I pray to GOD to open doors and show me the way; and before both of my knees are off the floor I am formulating a plan in my mind on how GOD can bring it to pass. Why is it so hard for us to enjoy the process of going from test to testimony. Sometimes I act as if I do not believe that GOD can do all things. But GOD is good! Despite of myself GOD is who HE is. No matter what HIS plan will prevail. Sooner or later I will have to sit and wait upon HIM; and when I do I will be filled with strength and see the path so clear as to where HE wants me to be and go.

What are we waiting for? Why do we try to do GOD's job. Learn your roll!! There can be only one person in the drivers seat. Let GOD be your captain. Let HIM be your GPS. Let GOD make the big choices in your life and trust him to put the desire in your heart and tell you where to go. Never, ever tell GOD how to, or when to do anything when it comes to your future. Ask and believe and it will come to pass. And do not lose heart if your timing is not GOD's timing. For GOD's timing is always right on time. For by waiting on HIM your faith is made stronger. Call and HE will answer! Wait and HE will show up! Give HIM your burdens and HE will carry them for you! Show HIM your mountains and HE will move them for you! Believe me GOD can do anything, anytime, anywhere! Now with that said I just have to make sure I am no longer getting in His way! Pray for me! And I will pray that you will do the same!

I love you always and in all ways!

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the longe

RETURN!

Luke 15:20 20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was yet at a distance, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. ________________________________________________   Some of us have struggled for so long with issues and the trappings of life that we have a desire to change, and break free, but we don’t know where to start.   We are also afraid of what it really means to be free from the struggle that has accompanied us for so long in our lives. . . We ask and say: “Well, Lord If I break free from, (adultery, obesity, smoking, lusting, alcohol, sex) what will I have to fight next? What will I have to focus on next?   I don’t know what freedom really feels like and that scares me!” These feelings are normal and truth be told, these feelings are some of the reasons we have relapsed back into our familiar activities.   However GOD has always been watching you.   Even before you accepted Christ and before you even a

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him.
