WHO CAN YOU TRUST IN THIS WORLD?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He shall direct your paths. Prov 3:5-6

Who do you trust? And where do we go now?

In this world and especially in our society there are so many things the world can offer to keep us occupied. So many opportunities that we can explore. In fact we live in a nation that boast to be the "land of opportunity"! We are empowered to be the masters of our own fate. This is great, but only to a point. We should rejoice that we are free to consult our GOD for our direction. We should not feel free to make choices in the place of GOD.

This is where most of us get into trouble,(myself included). It is so easy to find interest in something and submit it to GOD as a viable option for our lives only to convince ourselves that GOD has blessed it. In reality we have never consulted GOD and really have never trusted him. We have essentially told GOD what we have put in our own hearts instead of asking GOD to give us what our hearts should desire! To put the cherry on top when our own path leads us to a drought we get mad at GOD, when it is our fault for leaning towards our own understanding and never acknowledge GOD in the first place.

The word says to acknowledge GOD in all ways. For people like myself who are guilty of trying to be my own life's captain we should try this. It is a bit scary because like a child in the backseat of the car who does not know where their parent is taking them, we must sit still and be quiet and wait to arrive to GOD's destination for our lives. This destination is GOD's ultimate destiny. It is what he has created us for. And if , before you transition from this world to the next, you get to operate in your destiny, (even if for a brief moment), you will experience joy in this world that you have been longing for. Your destination in this world is GOD's appointed destiny. Do not miss it!

Remember I love you always and in all ways.
