From Faith To Faith!

In this world and especially in our society there are so many things the world can offer to keep us occupied. So many opportunities that we can explore. In fact we live in a nation that boast to be the "land of opportunity"! We are empowered to be the masters of our own fate. This is great, but only to a point. We should rejoice that we are free to consult our GOD for our direction. We should not feel free to make choices in the place of GOD. This is where most of us get into trouble,(myself included). It is so easy to find interest in something and submit it to GOD as a viable option for our lives only to convince ourselves that GOD has blessed it. I know in my heart that if GOD brings me to it he will bring me through it.  But time and time again on my worst days I feel a weight on me as if the future and its uncertainty blocks the light of GOD's plan for my life.  My flaw is the need to know how and when GOD will do what he will do.  And if I cannot see the "hows" and "whens" of life then I can start to panic, and worry. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis.
