WHO CAN YOU TRUST IN THIS WORLD?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He shall direct your paths. Prov 3:5-6 Who do you trust? And where do we go now? In this world and especially in our society there are so many things the world can offer to keep us occupied. So many opportunities that we can explore. In fact we live in a nation that boast to be the "land of opportunity"! We are empowered to be the masters of our own fate. This is great, but only to a point. We should rejoice that we are free to consult our GOD for our direction. We should not feel free to make choices in the place of GOD. This is where most of us get into trouble,(myself included). It is so easy to find interest in something and submit it to GOD as a viable option for our lives only to convince ourselves that GOD has blessed it. In reality we have never consulted GOD and really have never trusted

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV). Do Not Grow Weary In Waiting!!! I have realized that we live in a society that has trained us to have everything "right now" and our way. We have become experts in getting our children to stop having temper tantrums. We grow weary when we even think about how long something may take. And the thought of working through a rough patch in our lives and marriages seems like the thing not to do. I mean!! Half of our marriages end in divorce. How can Christians fight for marri

LIVE LIKE YOU BELIEVE!!!

Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT If I am saved and I believe in You, then why do I act brand new? As a Christian I know and have faith that GOD has my life and well being in his hands. I know in my heart that if GOD brings me to it he will bring me through it.  But time and time again on my worst days I feel a weight on me as if the future and its uncertainty blocks the light of GOD's plan for my life.  My flaw is the need to know how and when GOD will do what he will do.  And if I cannot see the "hows" and "whens" of life then I can start to panic, and worry. Panic, worry, and fear are things people in the world do who don't know that GOD has designed a path and goal for their lives.  The constitution says that as an American we have the right to &qu

ANSWER ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!!!

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Open your ears because GOD is calling. I know that everyone who is reading has probably heard this before from a person of authority in their lives. Traditionally it is a parent who speaks to a teenager who thinks they know everything. I know it was said to me when I chose to be difficult. And in the end I gave an answer. So I'm thinking to myself why did it take me so long to answer GOD. After all the plans he has put in place for me. After the love and preparation he is placing into my life. I was still not answering the call for my life. I am still being prepared for a work of GOD's design. I am not talking about my future appointme

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him.
