FOR REAL OR FAUX-REAL

2Cor 13:5 (NIV)

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?

Many of us are comfortable siting on the couch of Christianity.  We go to church and love to claim membership in the Kingdom of GOD as His children but never ever dare to examine and test ourselves.  Yes it is easy to judge and test the situations of others but it is rare that we put our own hearts and faith on the line.

It is about time that we regularly ask ourselves: Are we really living a life that expresses our alliance with GOD?  Are we really going to be counted in that number?  The answer to those questions should flow from your life!  Are you using Christianity as a mask to cover your true nature, or does Christ truly dwell inside of you replacing the old heart of sin?  To be filled with the real nature of Christ you must first let go and empty yourself of the fake and sinful nature of your flesh.  Take the time in every moment of your life to turn to GOD. Ask GOD to prune you daily.  Ask Him to renew your heart and mind and never ever shy away from Spirit led self-evaluation.  If you are willing God will shine a light on the areas of your life you need to sweep and clean out.  Be encouraged and keep it real in Christ Jesus!

I love you always and in all ways.

HARVEST TIME!

Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Have you ever been working, waiting, or standing in the gap for anyone? In such times of testing and prayer did you ever think how easy it would be to give up? It seems that while we are going through we loose sight of the goal GOD has set before us! We focus on our discomfort and take the burden onto our own backs instead of leaning on GOD's everlasting arms. The struggle itself is not the problem. However, our main problem is our human condition. We cannot do it all on our own. We must constantly look in the mirror and remind ourselves that we are not alone. . . Ever! We must remember who our GOD is. GOD will never allow you to go through a problem without bringing you to your blessing. It may take more time than you would like to endure. However the outcome and harvest gained is what's needed. If you are ...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV). Do Not Grow Weary In Waiting!!! I have realized that we live in a society that has trained us to have everything "right now" and our way. We have become experts in getting our children to stop having temper tantrums. We grow weary when we even think about how long something may take. And the thought of working through a rough patch in our lives and marriages seems like the thing not to do. I mean!! Half of our marriages end in divorce. How can Christians fight for marri...
