WHAT ARE YOU WORTH?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Let me start by saying that "IF" there is a GOD (and there is) and "IF"we are created and not evolved (and we are created), then there is no price that can be put on human life. Well. . . No price that we can pay! Even if you had a bank account that could pay off the world's debt a million times and still have enough to buy every one in North America a tank of gas everyday until gas ran out (with inflation) you would still be short.

But it seems that we (humans) don't see it that way. The world would have you believe that you are nothing but the sum of a billion years of circumstance, culminated and defined by your failures and ultimately replaced after your death by someone who is better than you. All of that to carry the torch of evolution into the future.

However . . . We know that we are more than that lie. We are more than the picture that the world has painted us to be. We have a value that is not measurable. And remember we have not placed this price tag on ourselves. GOD has set the price for humanity. And believe me the price is more than what anyone on earth would agree to pay.

Q. Well how do you know how much something is worth?

A. Something is worth what someone else is willing to pay!

What did GOD pay for you? His law and standard said that as special as you are your sin renders you worthless and worthy of death. But what did GOD do? He paid with his own blood and life. And some of us won't even sow the seed of love, and respect into our own lives. We value the world over our own souls. We see the value the world places on us and live accordingly. But when you realize your true worth you will live each moment in that value. The value that GOD places on your life. The value that Satan hopes you will trade him for whatever the world is offering. Remember you are worth more than your past. You are worth more than who you used to be. Remember what GOD has invested into you and live accordingly.

Be encouraged!

I love you always and in all ways.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
