DO YOU TURST HIM?

PSALMS 9:10 (NLT) " Those who konw your name Trust you, for you, O Lord , do not abandon those who serch for you.

Whenever you truly realize that GOD is who he says he is, and your faith is fully seated in Him there is absolutely nothing that should worry you.  You will serve GOD in spirit and in truth. Some of us live as if we like the Idea of GOD. We worry about the little things in life instead of resting on GOD. We are comfortable with giving our eternity to him. However the worries of this life we hold on to.  This is silly. GOD is all powerful. GOD actually is in control and has your path and story penned already.  You may try to interject your own chapter but GOD is already aware of your thoughts and has covered you.

So why worry? It’s ok to be concerned. It’s ok to have those moments that will test your faith.  Those moments are what will make you grow in faith. However when you live as if only you can fix your problems and GOD is useless in your situation, you are destined to learn a very hard lesson.  Take your worries and problems to Jesus. Take your fear to GOD, and he will replace it with Faith. Faith is a choice that you have to make each second of your life. Each situation will pose its own challenges and your life may change from one second to the next, but GOD is always the same and will never be surprised, worried or fail.

Be encouraged! Remember GOD knows your heart. He knows what you are afraid of and what worries you. He just wants you to know that he is bigger than all of that. He may allow your biggest fear to knock on your door. And he expects you to expect Him to be there for you. He wants you to call upon his name in you hour of trouble. He will show up and show out. He will come through. Do not make GOD your last resource. Make GOD your first stop when trouble crashes into your life.  Count on GOD to come through for you every time.  Even when the outcome is not what you expected, just remember GOD has you in his hands. Nothing can change that, Not death, cancer, divorce, adultery, or anything that seems like a no win situation. For God there is no such thing.  Yes loved ones will pass away. And yes you will have problems, but GOD will hold you through it all. He will carry you from valley to the mountain top, and give you the lessons and blessings out of every loss and hardship.  Never give up on GOD, for he has never given up on you.

I love you always and in all ways.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
