OVERCOME!!!

Romans 12:21
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What is your struggle? What stands in your way?  Many of us deal, with something day in and day out.  There are things in this world that pester us to our very core and in essence we just learn how to operate despite of this struggle.  We stare it down each day in the mirror, and push it deeper inside in order to keep it from spilling into our day to day lives.  However, it is still there and manifests itself in many ways.

Some struggle with, anger, gossip, and even insecurity.  And in these times the world will only re-enforce it and if you are not grounded, and or seeking GOD’S face daily you will end up feeling alone and at your ropes end.  How can you concentrate on Loving your neighbor and GOD if you are constantly looking within yourself hating what your struggle is turning you into?  What do you do when your struggle has been with you so long you do not even know how to give it to Jesus? This is where many of us are today. We have become functioning Christians. We can focus just long enough to do some of GOD’s will.  But this is not enough. GOD wants our full attention on him and his agenda for our lives.  He wants to take that struggle from you. He wants to remove your insecurities.

Do not hold your problems inside. Do not let yourself become a functioning Christian. Rather become a producing Christian. Become a Christian who looks in the mirror and sees a saved person, and not a person who is trying to live up to being saved.  I myself have had to ask GOD for forgiveness. I am always trying to be the best I can and do not like to feel as if I have failed at anything.  GOD has shown me that failure is a part of the journey.  GOD has given you the opportunity to learn from your weaknesses. Remember that GOD is the author of all things, including your life.  God wants you to know, more than anything,  no matter what you do or say He will never fail you.  Be encouraged!  Take comfort in knowing that GOD can remove that pain. GOD can correct you and the thing you fight against daily. You are not alone! With GOD you can overcome anything.

Remember I love you always and in all ways.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
