CHANGES

ACTS 3:19

Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

There is a real problem if you know that there is anything separating you from GOD in your life that you are not dealing with. I’m am not talking about things that you struggle with daily. Nor am I talking about the occasional slip up in your walk with Christ. I am speaking of the sin that you turn your head away from and just live with from day to day.

For many young people (such as myself before I was married) it is fornication. For others it is paying tithes, and yet still for others it is carrying hate for present or past enemies. There are many sins and situations that provide the opportunity for us to repent and renew ourselves in the presence of the Lord.

It takes so much effort to maintain that sin. It also takes its toll when the consequences of life, as a result of the sin, are manifested.  For an example in my life, the fornication led to problems and resentment that almost caused me to lose the life I have today. We spend so much time observing the world around us, looking at the outward situations that GOD handles for us; we sometimes neglect to truly dig deep within ourselves to review the things that are holding our spiritual maturity back.

Be encouraged. GOD wants to forgive you. GOD stands with open arms. Even though he knows fully the worst of you, he has given his best for you.  He hates the sin but loves you in spite of  it all. He wants you to be the best you can be.  That’s why he has done all he can to save you and raise you from who you were, to who you are, and will continue to be with you until you become who he wants you to be. Look into yourself and start in the recesses of your heart. Take the first step in reaching your next level.  Search and ask GOD to reveal where you need change and repent. Ask for forgiveness and move forward.  Real change begins from within.

I love you always and in all ways.

  1. We have to be the change we want to see. We can't expect anyone/anything to be different if we don't want to go through some deep cleaning.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
