THEY SAY?!?!

Numbers 13:30-32

But Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, "Let us go up at once and occupy it, for we are well able to overcome it." Then the men who had gone up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we are." So they brought to the people of Israel a bad report of the land that they had spied out, saying, "The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height

Are you seriously worried about what “they” think?  “They” say you are weak to believe in a GOD who is silent.  “They” say you will never make it!  “They” say you are too short, tall, ugly, and ill equipped to accomplish anything.  “They” even say that this “Jesus” never existed and you are missing reality by believing in him.

But I ask you; Does what “they” say , have anything to do with what GOD has said and done?  To “them” you should say, “When I was told I couldn’t have any children GOD blessed me with a child”. Tell “them” “When I was given six months to live, GOD took away my cancer”. Tell “them”, “When I should have been broke, and jobless, GOD blessed me with a job and an increase in the midst of a recession”!

You see, “they” talk, but GOD acts.  GOD delivers!  GOD specializes in success and shutting “them” up each day.  Do not; (I repeat) do not become one of “them” by your words and deeds.  You see they “speak” out of fear and a lack of faith.  When you live a life that reflects fear, you will start to speak and act like “they” do.  You will put limitations on GOD.  You will let that fear infiltrate every section of your thoughts and prayers.   You will end your prayers with doubt in your heart  as if you are preparing yourself for failure and to be let down.  Remember remove all roots of fear from your life and vocabulary.  Expect success and the impossible from GOD.  Do not limit your prayers and requests to what you feel you can accomplish on your own.  When you have faith in yourself, you lose faith in GOD, and in essence become one of “them”.

Rest assured that whatever GOD has promised you is already yours.  Sometimes our hands and arms are not strong enough to receive it, so GOD is training us up for the blessing to come.  “They” have no idea what GOD has already done.  “They” will not know what to do when you are secure in the land of promise that GOD has given you.  “They “don’t even know, nor can “they” comprehend what GOD is doing right now.  Remember, faith and fear are the lines of separation that determines if you are with GOD or “them”.

Be encouraged and remember: I love you always and in all ways.

HARVEST TIME!

Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Have you ever been working, waiting, or standing in the gap for anyone? In such times of testing and prayer did you ever think how easy it would be to give up? It seems that while we are going through we loose sight of the goal GOD has set before us! We focus on our discomfort and take the burden onto our own backs instead of leaning on GOD's everlasting arms. The struggle itself is not the problem. However, our main problem is our human condition. We cannot do it all on our own. We must constantly look in the mirror and remind ourselves that we are not alone. . . Ever! We must remember who our GOD is. GOD will never allow you to go through a problem without bringing you to your blessing. It may take more time than you would like to endure. However the outcome and harvest gained is what's needed. If you are ...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV). Do Not Grow Weary In Waiting!!! I have realized that we live in a society that has trained us to have everything "right now" and our way. We have become experts in getting our children to stop having temper tantrums. We grow weary when we even think about how long something may take. And the thought of working through a rough patch in our lives and marriages seems like the thing not to do. I mean!! Half of our marriages end in divorce. How can Christians fight for marri...
