WHO ARE YOU?

Proverbs 23:7

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he

Everyone sees themselves in a certain light.  Men of importance place themselves on a pedestal while others see themselves as worth less than what they really are.  These thoughts are manifested by the words you speak. You may not talk about yourself directly but you give insight to the value you set for yourself via the tone and nature of your attitude towards life that is highlighted by the way you communicate (verbal, and non-verbal)!

The question I ask you is: What do you think of yourself?  I will not just hear the answer.  I will see it as well.  I will see it in your actions and hear it in your words.  Others will know if you love yourself by how you carry yourself.  Some will see the confidence you have for your future by the goals you set for yourself.  Deeper still, I will know the content and source of your character by where you put your faith and whom you consult.

Your words and thoughts are a powerful tool when it comes to how you position yourself to being used in GODs hands.  He has made each person with special abilities and talents.  Yet GOD does not force you to use or accept them.  He wants you to be bold and have faith in Him via the gifts he has given you.  I am not saying that you need to toot your own horn.  Realize that you need to think of yourself in the terms that GOD thinks of you.  GOD thought that you were worth dying for.  He trusts you to give you an assignment to spread his gospel and use your talents for the good of the world.  In this light, no matter how low or high you place yourself; it is irrelevant in comparison to the value GOD has placed on you.  Place your confidence in Him, and don’t just go through the motions . . . Start living.  Let him shape you and recreate you in the image He has always wanted you to be!.  Find yourself in Him!

Be encouraged! I love you always and in all ways.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
