LETS GET TO WORK!!!

Luke 10:2

He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

How long will it take before we stop seeking to be entertained and get to work.  If you are getting a good word from your pastor and never move from inspiration to application then it is for nothing.  Stop wasting your pastor’s time.  God is not sending a word to you so you can catch an emotional high.  He aims to work through you.  God is speaking into your life so that you can lead others to Him.

Take the work of GOD seriously.  We are all called to be ministers and teachers of the Gospel (Matt 28:16-20).  Saving the lost is not your pastor’s job.  It is yours!  Your Pastor has been established to teach you and serve you as mentor and leader.  But as a congregation, we are called to take the gospel to the world. We are called to feed the sick and love our enemies.  Your tithe is not the fee you pay for a good show on Sunday.  Your church clothes are not a status symbol.  They are your work clothes.  Your feet are not on your body to hold you up.  Rather you should be walking from place to place representing GOD in all you do, and saving the lost with every action of mercy and love you share.  Be encouraged!  Take the word of God to the world. Let us  all repent, grow and get to work! The world needs us!

I love you always and in all ways,

Rev. M. Harrison

HARVEST TIME!

Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Have you ever been working, waiting, or standing in the gap for anyone? In such times of testing and prayer did you ever think how easy it would be to give up? It seems that while we are going through we loose sight of the goal GOD has set before us! We focus on our discomfort and take the burden onto our own backs instead of leaning on GOD's everlasting arms. The struggle itself is not the problem. However, our main problem is our human condition. We cannot do it all on our own. We must constantly look in the mirror and remind ourselves that we are not alone. . . Ever! We must remember who our GOD is. GOD will never allow you to go through a problem without bringing you to your blessing. It may take more time than you would like to endure. However the outcome and harvest gained is what's needed. If you are ...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

NEW BEGINNINGS

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert   Some of us are stuck in our present and being held back by our past.   We struggle with what might be and what “was”, all the while God is shining a light on the door that leads into a place of renewal and challenge.   The question is; Why do we hesitate to turn the key and accept the challenge? We must be open and faithful to the plan of God in our lives.   In o ur past and present we have developed a perceived control, but our future is totally in God’s hands.   We need to recognize and accept that in all things God’s will needs to be done.   Do not let fear, and uncertainty become the stumbling blocks that motivate you to sway from God’s plan.   Be bold and accept his will and way for your future.   Look for his guidance and leave the past where it belongs.   ...
