YOU ARE HEALED!

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.

If we are Christians and we understand what the cross means for our eternal existence, why then do we act contrary to that reality.  Why do we continue to grieve Christ by adding more sin on the cross?   A Christian who continues to sin is worse than a sinner who has never known the truth of the gospel.  Christ wasn’t wounded for nothing!  His wounds equal our healing.  And yet time and time again we continue to go back to the very thing Christ died to heal us from.  Jesus suffered, bled and died for us all.  The Cross is where we all deserve to be.

So ask yourself the following questions:

Are you healed? Are you really serious about how you are living?  Are you only a child of God when it’s convenient?  Are you willing to cut off those things that Christ died for?

Ask yourself these questions each day and then answer them! Do not answer them with words.  Rather answer them with each action and breath you take. Remember GOD gave his best for you! He healed you and sacrificed to save you when you couldn’t save yourself.  Live a life of expression!

I love you always and in all ways.

HARVEST TIME!

Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV) 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Have you ever been working, waiting, or standing in the gap for anyone? In such times of testing and prayer did you ever think how easy it would be to give up? It seems that while we are going through we loose sight of the goal GOD has set before us! We focus on our discomfort and take the burden onto our own backs instead of leaning on GOD's everlasting arms. The struggle itself is not the problem. However, our main problem is our human condition. We cannot do it all on our own. We must constantly look in the mirror and remind ourselves that we are not alone. . . Ever! We must remember who our GOD is. GOD will never allow you to go through a problem without bringing you to your blessing. It may take more time than you would like to endure. However the outcome and harvest gained is what's needed. If you are ...

LOVE. . . EVEN WHEN IT HURTS!

John 4:7-8 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.  _____________________________ It sounds so easy! “Love one another”! But it is a task that takes practice and the Holy Spirit working within us to accomplish.   IT is easy to love a friend or a family member. Those who are good to us make it easy. But what about our enemies? How can we love them?   This verse does not exclude our enemies.   Those who push our buttons need our love the most.   Those who we must pray for daily need to see Christ in each one of us.   And please remember to others we are that person that needs prayer as well. Bottom Line: Loving others the way GOD loves us is not an easy task. It takes the spirit of GOD working in side of us to accomplish.   It takes the death of the old us and the new nature of Christ living in...

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:28-31 NIV). Do Not Grow Weary In Waiting!!! I have realized that we live in a society that has trained us to have everything "right now" and our way. We have become experts in getting our children to stop having temper tantrums. We grow weary when we even think about how long something may take. And the thought of working through a rough patch in our lives and marriages seems like the thing not to do. I mean!! Half of our marriages end in divorce. How can Christians fight for marri...
