REAL WORSHIP!!!

John 4:23-24

23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”

Worship has to be more than what you do for a couple of hours on Sunday in the sanctuary.  Worship must begin in your heart.  The word says that there will be a time when “true worshipers” will worship in “spirit and in truth”.  Not just with raised hands and in song but in obedience and with hearts filled with a hunger for the Father.  The Father must be worshiped with every action and breath we take.  This kind of worship cannot be faked or done part time.  God demands more than anointed singing and church attendance.  He demands a life of obedience that shouts our citizenship in His kingdom.  If we love Him we will keep his commandments.

So the question is how do you worship?  And are you keeping your worship real.  Unless you are fully then you might as well not even show up.  If you are a part time worshiper then you are about as useful as bald headed Samson.  Don’t just go through the motions of worship.  Gain a deeper level of praise that cannot be contained within the walls of your church.  Let the light of Life, which is Christ within you bleed out into every area of your life.  Worship God in Spirit and in truth, every day and in every way.

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. John 8:7 Even though we know better, do we live parts of our lives in secret as if GOD is not watching. We need to ask God to shine a light on the areas we need to fix.   Yes we need fixing. Just as no man could throw the first stone at the woman caught in adultery, we cannot cast any judgment on to anyone but ourselves. We do not deserve  anything but death because of our sin.
