Worrier or Warrior!

Matthew 6:25-27

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

If your life seems to be filled with seasons of worry broken up by moments of relief it is time for a change.  Worry only takes away from your life and has no place dwelling in your heart.  The warrior within is stifled when worry takes hold.  When worry takes hold the trust you have for GOD flies out of the window.  Too many times we only ask God for what we feel is possible.  We limit Him to the things we think are possible and take the realm of impossibility out of GOD's resume.  In fact when we worry we have no faith. 

Instead of worrying try prayer.  Instead of doubt try faith.  Believe even when you cannot see a way to the finish.  Believe even when the request is unbelievable.  Believe even when every physical sense in your body does not believe.  This is how faith is built up.  This is how a warrior prepares for the fight even in the face of deathly odds.  Remember you are not alone and GOD is able!  Now the question is: do you believe and are you ready to fight?

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7 Even though we know better, do we live parts of our lives in secret as if GOD is not watching. We need to ask God to shine a light on the areas we need to fix.   Yes we need fixing. Just as no man could throw the first stone at the woman caught in adultery, we cannot cast any judgment on to anyone but ourselves. We do not deserve  anything but death because of our sin. James 4:14   Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life?
