LET GOD HOLD YOU UP!

Romans 8: 26 The Spirit helps us in our weakness. So many things are obstacles in this world.   We have work, plans, ups and downs, and all sorts of problems in our lives.   We will grow weary.   But there is good news. In our weakness God will hold us up.   God will see us through, and God will empower and restore us. I know. Like me, some of you are tired.   Tired of going to school, tired of just getting by doing what is right.   But I am here to tell you, do not stray from the way God has set before you.   Do not take the short cut only to end up with a heart full of regret.   Look up to God for He is reaching His hands to put up under you.   He wants you to know that your goals will not be met under your own strength.   He wants you to know that your power is nothing compared to His.   He wants to fly in and save the day.   But in order for him to do that you must have faith.   Not just with you lips but with every action you take.   Believe that He can and prove i

NEW BEGINNINGS

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert   Some of us are stuck in our present and being held back by our past.   We struggle with what might be and what “was”, all the while God is shining a light on the door that leads into a place of renewal and challenge.   The question is; Why do we hesitate to turn the key and accept the challenge? We must be open and faithful to the plan of God in our lives.   In o ur past and present we have developed a perceived control, but our future is totally in God’s hands.   We need to recognize and accept that in all things God’s will needs to be done.   Do not let fear, and uncertainty become the stumbling blocks that motivate you to sway from God’s plan.   Be bold and accept his will and way for your future.   Look for his guidance and leave the past where it belongs.   Be encouraged! Just when you think your past is
Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. ____________________________________ What would you think if you saw your favorite football team run onto the field in pajamas?   The opposing team would take the field fully suited up and ready for the game!   And your team would be just out there . . . not prepared.    This is what we do each day when we neglect to put on the armor of GOD.   God asks us to put on the “whole” armor of GOD.   Truth be told, this world is full of plots and schemes that Satan is using to try to take you down.   And sometimes, we make it so easy!   We go to the places we should not go.   We look and listen to the things we shouldn’t be looking at or listening to.   And we think about anything and everything except for pleasing GOD. In essence we take the field in our PJs.   We do not have the armor nor the weapons to combat Satan in this world.   We set ourselves up for a ve

AGAINST ALL ODDS!

1 Samuel 17:45-47 45  David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. 46  This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47  All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord ’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”  _________________________________________   Chances are you are, have been, or will face something that appears to be larger than life.   Whether it’s a new job, boss, circumstance, or living situation, it will come.   The outlook from your human eye that is centered in your flesh will be overwhelmed. And for a moment you will

TIMING!

Habakkuk 2:3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.   So you have a vision from GOD.   There is a time God has appointed for each moment of your life.   Do not rush God. Do not question God. Do not think God to be slow!   I am not blessed with the gift of patients. I have been going to school so long trying to obtain my Master’s degree to continue moving towards the call God has placed over me. I have tried to push God only to be made to wait even longer.   God makes us wait like the care taker of a vineyard who tends to his garden.   God is cultivating each of us to fit into a perfect moment.   Our lives are perfectly planned and even though we try to rush things, and sometimes show God we need more time to develop, God is faithful. So what can you do? Please enjoy the process of God’s cultivation and timing.   Please push yourself and never God.   A
