VISION!!!

Proverbs 29:18
21st Century King James Version (KJ21)
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

In this world nothing is what it seems. The passions of the world become the distractions to GOD’s voice in each of our lives. We are bombarded with the white noise that floods our five senses to full capacity on a daily basis. And over time this state of existence becomes the norm. We get used to the display of the world that the devil uses to keep us from seeing the deeper calling GOD has placed before us. We entertain ourselves and let GOD’s vision get replaced with the pipe dreams of the world.  The dreams are for a moment, but GOD’s vision leads into eternity!  If we give in, and if we let ourselves become distracted, in the end we will be left with feelings of emptiness and longing. Like a millionaire that losses all of his friends because of a shortage of funds, we will be looking for the dream to fulfill us, but it cannot. The dream cannot answer the eternal questions that GOD’s vision is designed to lead us to.

The dreams of the world look, sound, smell, taste, and feel good. The dreams of the world will wet your whistle for a short time. Just like the right sum of money can buy you the best night with the best prostitute you can find! She will listen to your problems, and provide for the needs of your flesh, but when your money is gone so is she.  However all the money in the world will never buy a woman’s real love, loyalty and respect. The other woman represents the worlds dream, but your family and wife represent GOD’s vision!  You can wake up from a dream, but GOD’s vision is destined and placed in your life specifically to be fulfilled. The dream is a distraction, but GOD’s vision is a blueprint to reach a specific goal.

We must train ourselves to be sensitive to GOD’s voice and become open to the vision he is bestowing upon us. We need to have our motherly ears on. Isn’t it funny that in the middle of Chucky Cheese on a Saturday during 16 simultaneous birthday parties, a mother can pick out her child’s voice from the rest of the children playing! When have we trained our ears to hear GOD calling us in the middle of every distraction the world places in our path? Don’t just wonder what GOD has planned for you, seek it, and claim it! The vision is yours to fulfill in the strength of GOD, in Jesus’ name! Drop the dreams of the world and grab hold to GOD’s purpose and vision for your life!

Be encouraged!

I love you all ways and in all ways!

  1. Asking God to train our senses to respond to Him is a minor task that has a major impact!

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
