The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be
with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. -
Deuteronomy 31:8
We pray for new seasons and new beginnings. In faith we
dream and hope in GOD for bigger, and yes better things. And as GOD gives us
visions and dreams, deep inside we are a little fearful. We, as humans, can’t
see the end of the road. And when this occurs we, instinctively, make plans to
fill in the gaps between the vision and its fulfillment. Like Sarah who gave
her slave to Abraham to have the promised child, we improvise and step all on
GOD’s toes (symbolically speaking). We lose sight of what the scripture says to
us. God, the giver and fulfiller of dreams, walks with us. But more importantly
he walks ahead of us. The vision was his
to give and his purpose and glory is the ultimate fruit of the journey he
allows us to take.
Remember, the biggest thing God cannot do is fail. God
is not a loser, and when you roll with him in spirit and in truth, as his child
and in his will, neither are you. How
much time do we waist attempting to “help God” because we are afraid of
failure? We rush, we run, we squirm, and we stress over the unknown, when in
the midst of our perceived “uncertainty” God working the future out before us.
What looks like a detour is only the express lane to the endgame. The prayers
and request you have taken to GOD have an assigned fix that GOD is working in
your favor. It will take time, because GOD is all about timing. He invented it
so that we can receive certain lessons at different times of our lives.
Situations arise and visions are given so that we can have an opportunity to
see God at work.
That husband you are praying for. Those children you
read to each night. That parent who has gone astray all are on a journey. All
are in GOD’s hands. Remember GOD is
walking ahead of you, He is walking with you, and He cannot fail you. So if you
are waiting on the drought to be over . . . If you are waiting for a certain
dream to be fulfilled. . . If you have begun to doubt and fear in your waiting
. . . be encouraged! GOD is working, walking, and moving ahead of you. He is
looking back at you encouraging you directing you to put on his armor. Pick up
your sword (your bible) and be ready to walk through the door he is preparing
for you. For when the vision is
fulfilled and you have arrived at the next destination and chapter,. . . your
journey, and your testimony up to that point will be the lesson and level of
faith needed to push even further. For there will be more visions and assignments
after the one God has currently given you. Believe it! God has, and God will see you
through!
Remember, I love you always, and in all ways!
