WORKING FOR WHO?

What ever you do, Work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will recieve an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Colossians 3:23-24

I have a question. Who is your master? Who do you answer to? The world acts as if every person is their own personal god.  There is a dwindling source of fear for GOD. This is even extended to those who claim to believe in GOD.  Please remember three things: WHO you are, WHOSE you are, and WHERE you are going!

Remember everywhere you go and every person you meet is a place and person of opportunity to represent Christ in your life. Your boss is not really your boss. The authority in your life is really GOD. And as long as you serve Him and do what pleases Him you have nothing to worry about.  Do not live as if GOD is absent. Do not work for others as if the bare minimum will do. In all things work as if GOD is your boss.  This is what it means to truly do your best in all things.

If you have a job and all you can do is complain please look at the unemployment line and thank GOD you have a job to complain about. Please go to work and take an attitude of excellence and GODLY grace with you. Work for GOD on a daily basis. Be faithful over a few things so that GOD can bless you with an increase.  Work for the job GOD is promoting you into not the one you have.

I do not know if you can feel it but GOD is preparing us for the turnaround of a lifetime. GOD is getting ready to show his power in our time.  Working at our best even in the most difficult of times  is key to being ready for what GOD is getting ready to do.  If you are in a job that is just filling in for the career you really want do not neglect it. Please be faithful, and work as if what you do today is the key for your tomorrow. Work today as if you are working for the Lord. Be encouraged. GOD is faithfull!

Remember I love you always and in all ways.

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

Psalm 73:26 King James Version (KJV) 26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever. We need to put our “hurt”, and our “quit” in check. They have no place in the peace and work of Christ. There are so many things this world puts in our lives that will hurt, distract, and push us down to the point of failure.   Your pain is an opportunity to grow.   Your distractions are an opportunity to refocus on GOD.   The temptation to quit is the point where GOD’s supernatural nature can take over your natural ability and accomplish the things you cannot on your own. Remember the following: 1.        GOD loves you to death. 2.        GOD never rests so you can rest on him. 3.        GOD never fails, even when you feel that you have.   D o not quit. Do not think of quitting. And do not plan for alternatives in respon...
