Watch Your Mouth!

James 1:26

New International Version (NIV)

26 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless

When you speak, do your words hurt or heal? When you live from day to day does your life reflect the Love of GOD or a love for the world? The example we set paints a picture of the faith that leads unto salvation in Jesus Christ. So when we speak with vain or vulgar words we hinder the credibility of our faith. Gossip, vanity, and malice hurt your reputation, and hinder your testimony from being fully received.

Remember; don’t be fake, phony, or judgmental.  Let people know of your short comings. Let them see your imperfections and tell them about the process that GOD is carrying you through. In this way the struggle and Joy in your life that comes from choosing to accept Christ via the power of the Holy Spirit, who makes a change each day of your life.  Do allow your words to hinder your testimony.

Be encouraged! Remember you have been called not just to love your family, and friends; But to also love your enemies, and everyone you meet.  Our work does not happen inside the church walls.  Real ministry happens each day when you are living your everyday life, at work and play.  Everyone you meet needs to see Christ in you.  Our everyday interactions provide moments of impact by which others can be strengthened, or led to Christ. Remember Live as if the eternity of others depends on it. Give life, and share the gospel in word and deed.

I love you always and in all ways.

NEW BEGINNINGS

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert   Some of us are stuck in our present and being held back by our past.   We struggle with what might be and what “was”, all the while God is shining a light on the door that leads into a place of renewal and challenge.   The question is; Why do we hesitate to turn the key and accept the challenge? We must be open and faithful to the plan of God in our lives.   In o ur past and present we have developed a perceived control, but our future is totally in God’s hands.   We need to recognize and accept that in all things God’s will needs to be done.   Do not let fear, and uncertainty become the stumbling blocks that motivate you to sway from God’s plan.   Be bold and accept his will and way for your future.   Look for his guidance and leave the past where it belongs.   ...

COVERED!

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7 Even though we know better, do we live parts of our lives in secret as if GOD is not watching. We need to ask God to shine a light on the areas we need to fix.   Yes we need fixing. Just as no man could throw the first stone at the woman caught in adultery, we cannot cast any judgment on to anyone but ourselves. We do not deserve  anything but death because of our sin. If we are dirty, and in no way worthy of GOD’s attention, then WHY!?!?!,.   .even though we deserve the stones to be thrown upon us does GOD cover for us.   In this scripture we are manifested in the face of the adulterous woman.   At one point in our lives we have chosen our way over GOD’s way. Realize that when we choose our way over GOD’s way that is sin.   Just as Satan sinned when pride entered his heart and he vowed to r...

Never Lose You!

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? _____________________________________________________ The world would have you believe that it has all of the answers.   The world will tell you that what you see, hear, feel, touch and smell is all that is real and worth living for.   But you may not know or understand that living for the rewards of this world come at a cost.   The world’s influence, when used as the blueprint for living, takes your heart and shapes it to its will leaving you an empty shell of who you really are. Nothing in this world is worth changing who you are in Christ.   There is no middle ground in the issue.   Yes, we are all a work in progress and live in this world, but who we are is not dictated by anything or anyone in this world.   Who you are is worth more than whatever this world has to offer.   Do not chase the image the world is selling you.   Unless...
