Habakkuk 2:3
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
So you have a vision from GOD. There is a time God has appointed for each
moment of your life. Do not rush God. Do
not question God. Do not think God to be slow!
I am not blessed with the gift of patients. I have been going to school
so long trying to obtain my Master’s degree to continue moving towards the call
God has placed over me. I have tried to push God only to be made to wait even
longer. God makes us wait like the care
taker of a vineyard who tends to his garden.
God is cultivating each of us to fit into a perfect moment. Our lives are perfectly planned and even
though we try to rush things, and sometimes show God we need more time to
develop, God is faithful.
So what can you do?
Please enjoy the process of God’s
cultivation and timing. Please push
yourself and never God. Ask God to help
you remember your call and keep you motivated.
God does not lie and if you stay close to him you will stay
focused. Do not do like so many and find
a new vision for yourself that seems easier and faster than what God has placed
in your heart! The vision is waiting and
its time is on the way. Reaching your goals in life is not like
picking up your food at the second window.
Realize the good things worth waiting for in life take planning and
patients. All of the Old Testament was
pointing and setting up the arrival of Jesus Christ. The good news and the point of the Bible is Jesus. The world waited for Him and when He came
they didn’t recognize Him. Do not miss “it”
because you have replaced “it” with your alternative vision. See it through! Wait on God’s time, he will not be late.
Be encouraged!
