GOD CAN’T DO NOTHING!

Jeremiah 32:17: “Oh, Sovereign LORD, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

The title (in bad grammar) means GOD CAN DO EVERYTHING!

Big dreams take faith. Faith takes a relationship and built trust in GOD. When is the last time you stopped focusing on the perceived impossible situation in your face and focused on GOD’s resume in your life? Most people have a good reason to believe GOD can do what they ask without even looking into the pages of the Bible. Sometimes we can read the stories in the bible and it is so detached from us and our life. We read about GOD creating the universe, and parting the red sea . . . etc. and we can’t relate. However, as awesome as those acts are, GOD has parted oceans and moved mountains in our personal past! When we come across a new obstacle we forget the previous power GOD has displayed in our lives. We act brand new! We act like we don’t have any Word in us.

Why worry if you really believe? Why hold back in your request if you actually believe that GOD can do anything?  We ask GOD for what we think is possible. We restrict GOD to the natural. How crazy does that sound. GOD is the GOD of the impossible. The things GOD can do set the standard for all impossibilities. GOD moves in the supernatural. We should be asking GOD to do the impossible on a regular basis, full of faith, knowing that once our prayer is finished all we have to do is wait on GOD’s action. The point I am making is this…don’t insult GOD by limiting Him to your own understanding or ability. We must stop placing our limitations and characteristics on GOD.

We must think big and dream big because our GOD is BIG. Our GOD is capable and willing to do the impossible. The best and biggest outcome you can dream, GOD can go above and beyond.  We must believe when we pray and stop faking our faith. I know that most of us will say we have faith and that GOD is able, etc.… etc.…! But in the storm and the turmoil our first reaction is worry. Ok I will give you that (it’s a natural reaction), however . . . it’s not that we have that initial reaction of worry,  rather it’s how long we let it block the fullness of our faith; or do we get past it and look to GOD for deliverance? Do we let that worry diminish our prayer and the trust we have in GOD? Does our “worry” become bigger than GOD?

F.E.A.R (false evidences appearing real) will creep in and take root. Every time you let it in it diminishes your faith. You expect less of GOD because “FEAR” has become your new reality.  Every time you have a vision and a calling that is outside of you comfort zone, your “FEAR” will attempt to block you from moving in faith toward fulfilling that vision. “FEAR” is the mind killer. Instead of “FEAR” develop your Faith. Nothing is too hard for GOD; remember  “GOD CAN’T DO NOTHING”…..HE CAN DO ANYTHING!

Be encouraged!

I love you always and in all ways!

COMFORT IN THE VALLEY!

Isaiah 40:30-31 New King James Version (NKJV) 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. In the short time that you have in this world you can expect to be tested. You should look for it and know that you will have valleys and mountain tops along the path that you walk as a Christian. It may seem that the path gets more and more narrow. It may seem that you come across another path that seems to lead you to easier terrain and a location with “greener grass”. Do not be fooled or discouraged. With each season of testing GOD allows you to experience, there will be a season of recovery and spiritual growth. When you are in your valley you can rest in the fact that you will have to go up a hill to reach the mountain top. And the higher the mountain top the l...

RETURN!

Luke 15:20 20 And he arose and came to his father. But while he was yet at a distance, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. ________________________________________________   Some of us have struggled for so long with issues and the trappings of life that we have a desire to change, and break free, but we don’t know where to start.   We are also afraid of what it really means to be free from the struggle that has accompanied us for so long in our lives. . . We ask and say: “Well, Lord If I break free from, (adultery, obesity, smoking, lusting, alcohol, sex) what will I have to fight next? What will I have to focus on next?   I don’t know what freedom really feels like and that scares me!” These feelings are normal and truth be told, these feelings are some of the reasons we have relapsed back into our familiar activities.   However GOD has always been watching you.   Even before you accepted Chri...

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...
