MAN UP!


Joshua 1:9 — “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”


When men are in line with GOD they find a courage that the world finds unsettling. When a man cannot be bought or bribed or seduced by the trappings of this world then that man becomes a threat to the plan of Satan.

The path to the center of GOD's will begins with a choice and an answer to the command of GOD.  Men have to remove themselves from the throne of their own life and allow GOD to be their King. For most of a young man’s life his flesh rules his thoughts and actions. His needs are self-centered, and actions are self-serving.  A man has to be ready to let his own fleshly desires go in order to answer GOD's call. GOD calls all men to . . .

2 Timothy 2:22 — “So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.”

When GOD calls; real men answer! When GOD calls he will get an answer. Either you will answer to Him in obedience now, or have to answer as to why you rejected His call when you are judged by Him later. Take your pick. Do not make excuses or justifications as to why you are not doing what is right as a man. "What excuses?" you ask. . . Let me list a few . .

"Well I am not married so I can see as many women as I want."

"I am a grown man so I can do what I want"

"I do not have any kids so I am not a role model to anyone."

"As long as I keep making the money my wife should be happy."

GOD does not care if you are married or single, a father or childless, rich or poor, he demands a certain code of conduct from all men (especially if you are Christian). Don’t hold on to your old life and ways just to keep what you feel like you will be missing. When you live for yourself you are a undisciplined slave to whatever your flesh desires. You are no longer in control of your body, rather your body is in control of you. You are not accountable and you are not reliable. And just because you get married does not mean you will be faithful. You have to decide to let your flesh die and let GOD live in its place. Real men are men of GOD. Real men are men of faithfulness and of love. Real men act more and more like Jesus everyday of their lives. How did Jesus act? In the face of temptation, Jesus was faithful. In the face of suffering he was not frightened or dismayed. In the face of death, Jesus was courageous. Even at his lowest point in the garden of gethsemane Jesus let the will of the father take the place of the fleshes desire to escape the cross, and essentially manned up.

Men the choice is yours. You can continue to be a slave to your flesh, or answer the call of GOD. Real women are looking for real men! And the world is filled with so many men who are pretenders to the seat GOD has called them to sit in, that when they envision a real man the vision of him is like looking through broken glass. What the world represents as real man is flawed and jagged.  Do not be the man the world says you should be.  Man up, overcome, and become who GOD has created you to be. . . a "real man"!

Be Encouraged!!

Ready or Not: Here Life Comes Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. I am starting this blog in response to the excuses I have had as to why I am not doing more for the kingdom of GOD. I have been in the USAF for 7 years and have been a studying to become a Chaplain and pastor for the past 7 years. I have been called into ministry for the past 17 years.. I have had a strong pulling in my soul to serve in full time ministry and have let myself put up blocks in my mind because of my commitment to my country as a military member. This showes a weakness in my heart and mind. I realize that just because I am not a full time Pastor or in "fulltime ministry" does not mean I do not have the opportunity to minister on a daily basis. Realize that no matter where you go or what you do there are opportunities to share GOD's word and work for him. ...

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. John 8:7 Even though we know better, do we live parts of our lives in secret as if GOD is not watching. We need to ask God to shine a light on the areas we need to fix.   Yes we need fixing. Just as no man could throw the first stone at the woman caught in adultery, we cannot cast any judgment on to anyone but ourselves. We do not deserve  anything but death because of our sin. If we are dirty, and in no way worthy of GOD’s attention, then WHY!?!?!,.   .even though we deserve the stones to be thrown upon us does GOD cover for us.   In this scripture we are manifested in the face of the adulterous woman.   At one point in our lives we have chosen our way over GOD’s way.
